Pittsburgh Abides is more than just a screening of the movie. Now in our 4th year, we’re not exactly lightweights. Because Pittsburgh is a city of champions and a city of achievers, we are expanding this homage to all things Dude to two floors of activities, contests and music. Oh yeah, and maybe we’ll still show the movie.
Both floors of Spirit will feature video projections and Lebowski-themed décor. Channel your inner Maude and ride our zipline. Co-star in your own beaver picture and be on the lookout for the Knutsens.

This looks interesting man, this looks interesting! Lebowski Bowl in Milwaukee August 27th 8:00PM CDT
The Dudes over at Landmark Lanes in Milwaukee look to be having a bash or what-have-you. Looks like a far out time!
Themed bowling nights make a return to Landmark Lanes with Lebowski Bowl on August 27th.
We're channeling this 90's classic with a night of bowling, themed cocktails, costume contests and all things Lebowski. We can't think of a better excuse to don your favorite robe and bowl the night away to an awesome soundtrack, solid drink specials and more. If you're really feeling adventurous, throw on some cargo shorts and wear those aviators indoors. We won't judge.
Look forward to:
$5 White Russians
"Best Robe" contest
Best costume contest
A photo booth
$2 games for those in costume!
We cant stop here Walter, this is bat country!
On August 19 and 20, The Dude abides while The Mahoning Drive-In Theater goes over the line and out of their minds with a 1998 smashup of two unforgettable epics, tastefully crafted by legendary film forces, Terry Gilliam and the Coen brothers!
We'll get things rolling (and bowling) with “The Dude” in THE BIG LEBOWSKI, followed by Hunter S. Thompson's psychedelic misadventures of journalist Raoul Duke and his “attorney” Dr. Gonzo as they pursue their “very ominous assignment, with overtones of extreme personal danger” in FEAR AND LOATHING IN LAS VEGAS. Get ready to get weird! Both films will be presented in 35mm film!
Gates open at 6pm
Showtime at dusk (9pm)
Tickets available NOW!
For those who don't want the adventure to end after the movies, The Mahoning Drive-In Theater offers camping on the drive-in lot for an additional $10. Passes are available at the box office on night-of-show!
